What is HRMS?
An HRMS is software that manages a team's staff records, attendance, leave and payroll in one place; in a school it keeps teacher and staff data accurate and pay run-ready.
HRMS stands for human resource management system. It is the part of your software that looks after people rather than students: who is on staff, when they are present, what leave they have taken, and what they are paid.
In a school, a good HRMS records staff attendance, often with geo-fencing or a QR check-in, manages leave, and feeds all of that straight into payroll so month-end is not a spreadsheet reconciliation. When it shares a record with the rest of the system, a teacher marked absent can even flow into arranging cover.
The point of an HRMS is to stop staff data living in scattered files. One accurate record of every employee means fewer payroll mistakes, cleaner compliance, and far less manual work for whoever runs the office.
